Time may be only an illusion but it did fly by this January. 2020 has been off to an interesting start so far. Going into it, I was less prepared than I would have liked to be – pages on the blog were still under construction, not a single post was scheduled and I had a ton of things that I hadn’t planned out. How did that pan out for me? Let’s nosedive into my January 2020 wrap-up to find out!
Reading

I managed to read 4 books this month, which is on the lower side. However, the start of the year really overwhelmed me and I finished my first book only on January 12th. The quality of books I read was average and overall, I’d say it wasn’t my best reading month.

Blogging
My blog didn’t get off to the flying start I had wished for. I’ve been trying to work through a backlog of posts and design elements that needed to be done before January 2020 started. Nevertheless, I’m happy that I got over my perfectionism and started posting because I love creating content for Novels and Nebulas!

Projects
This year I feel like I have taken on a bit more than I can chew off. I managed to read the Stars and Sorcery BOTM and 2 books by South-Asian authors but they weren’t the books chosen for SARC in January. Despite my lack of efforts, Stars and Sorcery and SARC started off on a high note in 2020, for which I’m really grateful to the book club members and SARC co-hosts.

This is cool babe !!!! I have never done wrap ups before, so I’m just planning one for the whole quarter on the 31st 😊😊
But you’ve gone into so much wonderful detail and it’s awesome. I love it !!!
Thank you so much, Sahi! 😊 I’m finally getting through my post backlogs. 🙈 I didn’t want to add a lot of text in because I feel like wrap-ups make nice videos but I don’t know how to turn them into interesting blog posts. As the bookish community is obsessed with stats, I decided to add them and I’m happy with the result. I can’t wait to see your quarterly wrap-up! 💖
Ya… mine would probably be only text if I had done previously.. but now I have those graphs, so I thought I’ll try as well. And once per quarter seems reasonable… monthly is a bit much for me 😂😂😂
Yours is very pretty and comprehensive… don’t worry about being late !!!
You always say the nicest things, Sahi! 🥰 Ooh, graphs! I’m waiting. 😍
It’s coming on Tuesday !!!!
I definitely haven’t been reading as much/as fast as normal lately, but that happens sometimes. Fun visual wrap-up!
Oh, that sucks but I hope you get your reading mojo back soon and be kind to yourself until that time. 💖 Thank you so much! 😊
