February has come and gone like a whirlwind and as usual, I don’t intend to make any special use of the leap day. There’s a lot of overwhelming news floating around at this time and I hope that everyone has the resources to stay safe! For me, February was a really good blogging month and my reading month was slightly better than January. Let me give you all the stats-y details in my February 2020 wrap-up!
Reading

I finished reading 5 books, which is a small improvement from January. I had to get to 2 review copies that came out in February and I quite enjoyed both of them. I also finished The Fever King by Victoria Lee because I was approved for The Electric Heir, the sequel. One of my goals from 2017 was to finish Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five series and I read Book #7 this month but it was average and the characters weren’t my favourite, so I’ve decided to leave that series unfinished, at least in this lifetime.

Blogging
I was really disciplined this month and posted content on time as much as possible. However, views went down from January for inexplicable reasons. I’m not too stressed about that though and I just hope that the content speaks for itself. I also wish this streak continues into March and I can establish a good blogging routine.

Projects
February was a disaster in terms of reading success for Stars and Sorcery. By overwhelming majority, we decided to read Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James and many members, including me, ended up DNF-ing it. However, we are planning to turn things around in March with an MG sci-fi book and I hope that the members like it better! SARC was yet another quiet month in terms of content but I am happy about the fact that I read our new release BOTM, Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon.

I’m absolutely in love with the series and have the ARC as well, so your review has made me even more excited! 🤩 Happy to share. 😊
Ah I’m so excited for you to read it!!
Ah, I can’t believe that I just got this pingback now, Dini! Thank you so much for mentioning my post 🥺💗 I’m so happy that you rated The Fever King 5 stars! I did too!! It’s so good—the political commentary is *chef’s kiss* and Noam and Dara have my heart. Also, I love how informative all of your posts are, ahhh
Oh no, don’t worry! I had to backdate this one and I think I posted it in March or April. 🙈 Yes, I loved your post! ♥️ I’ve gotten very bad at blog hopping in terms of liking and leaving comments, so I hope to make up for that by linking all the amazing blog posts I read (usually by clicking through Twitter) in my wrap-ups.
YAS, that series is so good! 😍 I’m glad to meet a fellow fan. It’s so underrated I feel.
Thank you so much! 💖
